Actionscript Performance Testing

Ah, PerformanceTest, where have you been all my life? Want to measure the execution time of an algorithm you need to optimize so you have relevant data regarding your “improvements?” Well my friend, you want PerformanceTest.
To show you how easy it is, here’s one I just threw together to time my [...]

Actionscript Profiling

I’m looking for a way to monitor Actionscript 3 code while it executes and then view a report of execution times of methods. So far Google has said “Tough luck, bud.”

I just received my 75th spam comment! Add that with the 25 real comments — from my 2 fans… =( — that brings the NDR comment count to 100!

EhhhHH?

The title of this post is the Japanese sound of surprise — took me a good half hour to find a sample on youtube that was work safe!

Beuller…

Holy crap. I’m still alive. Work bumped it up and blah blah, anyway I’m back. I am programming a fun flash game right now! *And* I designed before I jumped in. =) Stay tuned kids.
