Unit movement around arbitrary polygons

Although it is totally unoptimized, the best path isn’t taken, and there are loads of quirks, the implementation needs polish, and it was harder than it should have been, but I present to you 40 ants dodging 4 arbitrary polygons!

Squadron Formations

Whew, late night but fun development. Who wants to see the new battalion formations?

The Graveyard

Happy New Years everyone!
A minor release today for Ant Invaders –

Ant Invaders is Reborn!

After cutting our teeth on Tree Climber, Ant Invaders was published to Kongregate last weekend with favorable results. I’d like to say a big “Thank you” to everyone who played and commented on this prototype, and I’m happy to say that your enthusiasm has revived my enthusiasm and a whirlwind of high-fives and air-punches.

I think the bugs that plagued the last version have been fixed. Let me know if anything seems strange here. The dots may appear to hop like frogs if they collide with the level obstacles, but this is just an illusion and you should try to take fewer drugs.
One particularly nasty bug was [...]

How does this feel?

This a satisfying release and feels like a game almost. It features three armies on the battle field and some neat UI elements.

A little more fun

When you destroy all the Red dots, they will come back at 110% the strength! Oh the huge matinee! The enemy moves, you try to kill them… there are pie charts for health and lots of attack lines!

Almost fun

I’m excited because it’s almost fun! This release allows for interaction between the armies! Attacking occurs automatically, just move your army near to the enemy.
